Toure: I'm going nowhere
Yaya Toure has confirmed he will stay at Manchester City this summer in an exclusive interview with the Manchester Evening News .
The Ivorian is also convinced he can rediscover his finest form - and revealed his determination to triumph in the Champions League.
Toure’s comments come after City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak told him that the club would not consider selling him amid interest from Inter Milan.
In those talks he was also informed of Manuel Pellegrini’s intention to make world class additions to his squad, following a trophyless campaign.
Toure said: “I will definitely stay. The fans don’t have to be worried.

Aston Villa are set for a fresh move for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson to replace Christian Benteke.
Villa boss Tim Sherwood has vowed to bring in fresh faces after Saturday’s FA Cup Final demolition at the hands of Arsenal.
Villa enquired about 23-year-old Wilson in January but balked at the £7million they were told they would have to pay for him.
Since then Wilson has gone on to shoot Bournemouth into the Premier League for the first time in their history.
The Coventry-born forward ended the season with 20 goals in the Championship and 23 goals in all competitions.
Liverpool are among the clubs keen on have Benteke. Sherwood admitted last week that he is powerless if someone triggers the Belgian frontman’s £32.5million release clause.
If that bid does materialise then Villa are ready to firm up their interest in Wilson.

Arsenal spending? Don't expect too much
Arsene Wenger has warned he will not spend “stratospheric” money in the transfer market after claiming Arsenal do not have the finances to compete at the highest level.
The Gunners boss also hinted he will not make many signings this summer. That could be a disappointment for fans, even after the FA Cup win, as the Frenchman says their success proves he does not need to break the bank.
Wenger was quizzed on why Arsenal would not want to compete with the likes ofManchester City or Chelsea to sign a world-class superstar like Juventus’ Paul Pogba for £60million.
“We have not spent that kind of money,” he said. “People forget that for years we had to sell our best players and that was a very difficult period. That is the reality.

This is Gunner be interesting
Manchester United are trying to hijack Arsenal’s move for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, it emerged tonight.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to build Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge around £25m rated Schneiderlin.
But Louis van Gaal is lining up a rival bid for the France World Cup star, who has made it clear he will leave St Mary’s if he is offered the chance to play in the Champions League.
Van Gaal is aware United struggled this season when Michael Carrick was injured and believes Schneiderlin, 25, can provide an alternative option to the aging England man.
News of United’s interest came as Saints boss Ronald Koeman admitted he faces a fight to keep Schneiderlin on the south coast.

Wenger plays down Vidal talk
Arsene Wenger has played down talk of a move for Juventus star Arturo Vidal.
The Chile ace has been linked with the Gunners and their Premier League rivals Manchester United.
However, Wenger claims they are not interested in the midfielder.
“Arturo Vidal? You [the journalist] must be from Chile!" said the Frenchman.
"We have good midfielders and at the moment we are not looking at Arturo Vidal."

Rafa in?
A spot of manager talk next.
Real Madrid vice-president Eduardo Fernandez de Blas dropped a huge hint that Rafael Benitez will be the club's next manager.
The former Liverpool and Chelsea manager is widely expected to be unveiled as Carlo Ancelotti's replacement in the coming days.
Ancelotti was dismissed from his position as Los Blancos boss earlier this month following a trophyless campaign, and De Blas all but confirmed Benitez's arrival at a club event on Saturday morning.

Benteke to Liverpool? No ta, says Reds fans
It wasn't a good day at the office for Liverpool-target Christian Benteke yesterday.
Apparently the Aston Villa striker was in the pitch at Wembley yesterday, but I for one can't remember him doing anything of note.
And it would appear that Liverpool fans weren't too impressed either, as they took to Twitter in their droves to protest any potential move.

Walcott confident of penning new deal
Theo Walcott is hopeful of thrashing out a new Arsenal deal after helping the Gunners to FA Cup glory.
The 26-year-old set Arsene Wenger's side on their way to a thumping 4-0 victory over Aston Villa on Saturday to retain the trophy.
However, Walcott is approaching the final 12 months of his deal at the Emirates, with talks over an extension due to take place over the summer.
And the England ace is confident of getting his future sorted to remain in north London beyond 2016.

"Angel Di Maria would be a good signing for PSG," the Belgian was quoted to have said by Telefoot.

Tim Sherwood hints at a busy summer
Yesterday's FA Cup final will likely have underlined what a big job Tim Sherwood has got on his hands at Aston Villa.
The former Spurs boss navigated his new side to Premier League safety, but they were well and truly outclassed by Arsenal at Wembley, losing 4-0 and lucky to get the nil, as the old saying goes.
“There will be some changes,” Sherwood said after the game.
“There will be as many as we can possibly do. We obviously know we need to improve and I think I can improve the group that are already here as well.
“We’ll start immediately. Some of the boys have already been told they won’t be here next year or they can go and find other clubs. I like to be that honest with them.
“I don’t want to let experienced players be strung along because I don’t think it’s right. We will be bringing in additions.”

Would £25million land Vidal?
Rumours linking Chilean midfield nuisance Arturo Vidal with Arsenal emerged last week and Gazzetta dello Sport have stoked the flames by reporting that the Juventus man's agent Fernando Felicevich was at the FA Cup final yesterday.
They believe that he may have been there to have talks with Arsene Wenger, as the Arsenal boss looks for that midfield destroyer that his side has been crying out for in recent season.
The Italian newspaper reckon that a fee of £25million would be enough to land Vidal as Juve want to spend big on Edinson Cavani and Paulo Dybala.

Into the Championship next, with The Sun reporting that Joey Barton is wanted by Leeds United, in what many will see as a match made in heaven.
The often-outspoken midfielder was released by QPR at the end of the season and the report suggests that even-more-outspoken Leeds owner Massimo Cellino is willing to bankroll a £1million-a-year deal for the 32-year-old.

Falcao keeping quiet on Chelsea
Radamel Falcao has been linked with Chelsea since Manchester United decided not to snap the Colombian striker for keeps.
And he's now had his say about said rumours, but he's not given too much away.
“Is my future at Monaco?," he told AS.
"Right now I’m thinking only about the Copa, there has been a lot of talk but I am relaxed about it. My agent is the one who takes care of all of that.”

Another Arsenal line here...
Arsenal are lining up a £5million move for Sporting Lisbon’s Cedric Soares, writes Steve Goodman in the Sunday People.
The Portugal right-back, 23, has impressed this season – and the Gunners considered a January bid.
Soares has helped Sporting reach Sunday’s Portuguese Cup final, as well as finishing third in the Primeira Liga.
Born in Germany, he has been capped at every level by Portugal from Under-16 onwards. He has been with Sporting since 1999.
He is under contract until 2016, but has rejected a new deal - paving the way for Arsenal to sign him for a cut-price £5million.

All things Arsenal next, as there's plenty of transfer news to go along with the Gunners' FA Cup win.

Liverpool in for a keeper?
Liverpool are planning a move for Real Madrid keeper Keylor Navas, report the Sunday People.
The Costa Rica star, 28, is on his way out of the Bernabeu this summer as the Spanish club pave the way for the arrival of Manchester United No 1 David De Gea.
And that has sparked interest from the Reds, who want to replace Simon Mignolet.
Navas joined Real last summer after a superb World Cup in Brazil, but he played just six games in La Liga with Carlo Ancelotti preferring Iker Casillas as his main keeper.

Bolasie to Spurs?
The Sun are reporting this morning that Tottenham are leading the race ahead of Liverpool for Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie.
The Eagles want £20million for the DE Congo star, but Daniel Levy reckons he can do business for less. Any move for Bolasie would see Spurs needing to get rid of one of their existing wingers, with Palace interested in taking Andros Townsend off their hands.
In further Spurs-Palace cross-pollination news, that very same newspaper is also reporting that Alan Pardew could offer Emmanuel Adebayor a Premier League lifeline.
