Here are all the latest Red Devils stories from today's Daily Mirror...
United end Clyne and Alves interest
Manchester United have ended their interest in Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne.
United looked to be closing in on a deal for the England right-back, with Clyne, 24, keen to move to Old Trafford.
But United boss Louis van Gaal has gone cold on Clyne in recent weeks and has turned his attention elsewhere, with Clyne set to pen a new deal with Saints.
United need to sign a right-back this summer, with Antonio Valencia having played there for much of the season and Rafael Da Silva set to leave Old Trafford.
The Reds have also been linked with a move for Barcelona and Brazil right-back Dani Alves, but United sources have confirmed there is no mileage in that particular deal.
De Gea agrees Real deal?
The Manchester United stopper is out of contract at the end of next season and has continually been touted for a move to the Bernabeu, replacing long-term No.1 Iker Casillas.
And according to Spanish publication Marca, the 24-year-old has reached an agreement on a £4million-a-year deal.
De Gea's contract in Madrid would then be between five and six years, although the two clubs are yet to agree a fee.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed another excellent campaign at Old Trafford and it is thought the Red Devils would demand at least £30million for his services.
Van Gaal fires Bale warning
Louis van Gaal has warned transfers are a three-way process amid interest in Real Madrid megastar Gareth Bale.
The Manchester United boss is preparing to ditch Robin van Persie and last summer's £59.7million British-record signing Angel Di Maria to shave a massive £500,000-a-week off their wage bill, enabling them to land the Welsh whizz.
Bale is one of a host of summer targets and Van Gaal said finding a balance in his squad was the most important thing this summer.
"It [success] is also dependable how we can make a balance in our selection," said Van Gaal.
"The most important thing is to make a balance in our selection.

£66m double Roma swoop?
Manchester United are preparing a double swoop for Roma's Miralem Pjanic andRadja Nainggolan, according to reports in Italy.
The Red Devils are willing to pay £66million for the pair, report Il Messaggero.
Roma need to cut the size of their squad from 25 players to 22, and were hit with a €6million fine.
The club cannot make a €30million loss for the next two years, so star players will likely be heading out.
Liverpool are also interested in the pair, as potential replacements for Steven Gerrard.
Czech mate?
The Express report Chelsea keeper Petr Cech is on Louis van Gaal's radar as a potential replacement for David De Gea.
The Spaniard continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid, with Cech expected to leave Chelsea in the summer.
Hugo Lloris and Asmir Begovic are also potential candidates.
Van Gaal said: "We want him to sign but he has to want to stay here. I don't know why he has not made the decision. I cannot say what he is saying to me.
"Our scouting department have a list of goalkeepers who can replace him because we have to be organised also, not only for that position but every position."
